One lakh freshers may join software industry this year
Chennai: The ongoing campus placement season at engineering campuses got a leg up on Thursday with Nasscom saying its member companies will recruit one lakh freshers this year, same as last year, belying fears that entry level jobs for freshers will shrink.

With companies engaging machines to write basic codes, there was apprehension that the demand for fresh graduate engineers will reduce.
